Description

Lozenge-shaped box constructed as an oval box. Maple lid and box bands, white pine headers, copper tacks secure swallow tails while headers are secured with iron points. Swallow tails point left. Row of tacks in middle of swallow tail has two tacks per swallowtail rather than the usual one tack. Box is washed with red inside and out, including underside of bottom.
