Gimlet for drilling small holes. The wooden handle has an incised line around the middle of the handle. The handle is bisected by the metal tang of the gimlet with a small circular disk at the top of the handle to reinforce the joint. The tang is round. At 1 1/4" from the end the tang is carved out along one side and is threaded at the tip.
