Coopered pail (a) and lid (b) made of pine. Iron or steel hoops, lid rim, and bail attachments. Wire bail with birch handle. Painted bright yellow on all outside surfaces; interior unfinished. Handle painted salmon red. Hoops and lid band painted yellow, but the bail attachments are not painted - they appear to be Japanned. Bail unfinished.
