Description

Circular base, slightly curved sides, wider circular rim. Black ash splint. Uprights 1/8" - 3/8" wide; weavers 1/4". Bonnet-shaped fixed handle (1/2" wide and about 3/8" thick in most places), double notched, that comes down on the inside. Split rim with single lashings. Uprights continue downwards to form base. Uprights are wider in the center (about 3/8" wide) to form split upright. Bottom is warped, causing basket to lean to one side.
