Tall case clock inscribed "E. Rude 1811", Mount Lebanon, NY

Description
Clock case of white pine (a), waist door hinged with brass clock hinges and has a brass half-mortise lock with brass escutcheon. Bonnet of white pine (b) with arched door surrounded by cock-bead on top with brass hinges and a brass half-mortise lock and escutcheon, glass panel in door and on proper left side of bonnet. English made clock-works (c) mostly of brass and a painted iron dial (d). Pendulum (e) with shaft of hickory, brass bob-face filled in back with lead, brass fittings, and a spring steel hanger. Winding key (f) crank of brass and steel. From original accession card: "Case made in 1811 by Erastus Rude of Mt. Lebanon. (Name: "E. Rude") and date appear in pencil on front edge back of dial of base-board of movement. this board made as part of casing of clock."
