Description

Hanging cupboard of pine with two shelves and a single door. Door frame through mortised and tenoned, each with a single pin, and wire screen rather than a solid panel. Hinged with iron butt hinges. A number of surface mounted latches were used and removed. Currently a half-mortise brass lock with key secures the door. Cupboard has three vertical boards for back. Cupboard carcass construction utilizes butt-joints secured by nails. Cupboard was painted yellow, scraped down, and varnished over. Screen mold painted green.
