Oval box (a) with lid (b) comprised of maple bands, white pine headers, copper tacks securing the swallowtails and copper points or shoe pegs holding the headers in place. Heavily varnished.
When acquired, the box contained 12 spools of thread, which have been cataloged separately as 1956.8008.2-.13.
