Round box with paper label inscribed "Life Everlasting," Mount Lebanon, NY
Description
Steam-bent oak round box (a) and lid (b). Rim ends feathered, overlapped, and secured along vertical joints with a row of iron tacks. Pine headers. The bottom is held in place with iron nails, and the top is held with headless brads. Two paper labels printed for other purposes and cut so that only lines show. Written on in inked script is "Life Everlasting". One label has lower-case "e" on "everlasting".
