Description

Plain weave - 15epi-20 ppi approx. Border stripe detail on both ends: 2 shots red, 6 shots white 2 shots red, 10 shots white, 6 shots blue, 6 shots yellow, 6 shots red, 6 shots blue, 16 white, repeat on opposite end, reverse 1x. Original warp end was cross-stitched, one end has a cotton sateen binding which was machine sewn on, probably done later because it obscures some of the striped border detail. Probably hand-woven.
