Square base to circular rim basket. Black ash splint with 3/8" uprights and 1/8" weavers. Split rim with double lashing. Arched handle that comes down on the outside; double notched, 3/4" wide. Base is plain weave, loose, and splits 1/2" - 2". Handle rises above by about 8".
