Description

Steam-bent curly maple carrier band and handle. The two swallow tails of the band are secured with copper tacks and the band is fastened to the 1/4" plywood bottom header with copper tacks as well. The handle is fastened to the outside of the carrier by two copper trunk rivets on each side which penetrate the handle, band, and a copper burr on the inside where the rivet ends are peened over. Stained red-orange and varnished over.
