Steam-bent birch carrier rim with two swallow-tails secured by copper tacks. Steam-bent beech, fixed handle fastened to exterior with copper trunk rivets peened over copper burrs on inside. 1/4" plywood header fastened by steel wire nails or brads. Varnished exterior and interior.
