Description

Six board, dovetailed chest of single width white pine boards. Lid hinged with iron butt hinges mortised into chest back and underside of lid. Chest has half-mortise lock and catch but no key. Bottom nailed to bottom edges of ends and sides. Lid has bread-board ends with molded lip that overlaps chest ends. Painted red and varnished over.
