Carrier handle bending form used by George Roberts
Description
Handle-bending form with basswood (Tilia americana) sides, white pine (Pinus strobus) top, hemlock (Tsuga canadensis) bottom and two sides, and top clamping bar of ash (Fraxinus americana). Clamping bars secured with eight flat-head steel wood screws and one 1/4" carriage bolt.
Notes
Used to hold steam-bent handles to shape until set.
