A special use marking gauge of maple and steel. A rectangular piece of wood 1/2" x 1 1/4" x 7 7/8" is cut with a 1/2" deep relieve in its center wit the ends of the relieve cut to v-points. 1 1/2" in from the points of both Vs. Pins are driven into the bar and filed to a knife edge.
