Three-gallon stoneware jug used in the medicine department, Center Family, Mount Lebanon, NY
Description
Three-gallon stoneware jug with salt glazed exterior. The outside of the jug is a glossy grayish-beige, and the inside is coated with a dark brown Albany slip. The jug features a cobalt slip-trailed tornado-like motif. What appear to be through lines run up the jug to the handle.
