Description
Between-centers turned basket mold with handle inserted into bottom. Top carved is hexagonal (flat). Bottom of mold dished a bit, with a hole drilled for maple handle. Handle is 1 1/4" at surface of mold bottom, tapering to 1 1/8" diameter at 2" below where diameter drops to approximately 3/4" and continues for approximately 3" to a rounded end. 1/4" x 13/16" slot chopped through 3/4" cylinder starting 1 11/16" below shoulder of turning.
