Red-washed table with drawers on each end, Mount Lebanon, NY
Description
Pine table with dovetailed drawer in each end. Legs of a hard pine, tapered on insides. Aprons and drawer rails joined to legs with mortise and tenon joints. Edges of top slightly rounded. Drawer knobs between-centers turned of cherry, drawers of pine except for basswood buttons. Fronts are lipped. Table painted with a red wash. Top has four 5/16" diameter holes drilled through it. Hole placements vary but are 6 3/8" to 6 5/8" in from sides and 6 3/4" to 7 1/4" in from ends. Holes are plugged with sections of basswood dowels.
