Description
Rectangular basket mold of white pine. Top rectangular with sharp corners, carved slightly concave. Bottom is flat with rounded corners. Heavily used mold since 7/8" diameter white pine dowels have been set into each top corner where pin holes had coalesced preventing pins from gaining purchase in the mold. Also, in the center, may holes are plugged with shoe pegs. A 1 1/8" diameter hole is drilled blind in the center of the bottom.
