Description

White pine between-centers turned (face grain orientation) kitten-head basket mold. Top carved to a square and the face of the square is relieved. The mold is scribed at 1/2", 15/16", and 1" from the top. The bottom has a 11/16" hole drilled blind in its center. Some plugs driven into corners of the top where pin holes had macerated the wood. Section of penciled line along a diagonal of the top square.
