Description

Forged iron rod, approximately 1/2" in diameter, with a forged scrolled yoke hammer-welded to top of rod and a forged oval-shaped plate hammer-welded to bottom of rod. Holder is nailed to a glued-up pine block painted a brown similar to the color on some of the museums early platforms, so likely to be museum added.

Notes

Used to support a horizontal length of stove pipe between the stove and chimney.
