Steps of pine nailed together with dovetailed back brace, also nailed. Both steps covered with something, perhaps linoleum, and painted over. Solid riser between the two steps with semicircular hand-hold cut out. Solid ends with slight relieve at center of bottoms. Steps originally washed with a pumpkin color, then painted light gray or white which has discolored with age.
