Description

Iron hanging balance with clevis-like hanger centered on a beam. Beam has pointer which passes through hanger but is centered in hanger when equal weights are suspended from either end. Each end has a cowl-like termination and forged eyes with four hooks on each, suspended from holes through the cowl.
