Description

Chestnut slab bench cased in pine with splayed chestnut legs, turned between centers, supporting it. Two broom vises of cherry with cast iron jaws and iron fittings, attached to the bench. One handle turned between centers, the other carved to shape with drawknives and spokeshave. Pine bench stop nailed to the top. Cleats/supports for a drawer secured to the underside of the bench top; no drawer present.
