Description

Double-double iron for leatherworking. The steel iron is attached to a turned-wood handle, reinforced by a steel ferrule. At the center of the iron the steel protrudes. On either side of this protrusion there are small steps cut out creating recessed sections of differing lengths.

Notes

An edge iron is used along the edge of the sole of a shoe to seal it and make it sturdier. A double double iron has two irons of different widths on its head.
