Measuring stick, probably cherry, scribed at 1-inch intervals along first 36 inches of stick; then another scribe at 48" (12 from 36" mark and 6" from end). Numbered 1 through 36 at each scribe and 1 through 4 at 9-inch intervals. Hole in end for hanging cord.
Used in the manufacture of cloaks.
