Description
Built-in tall cupboard over case of six drawers of white pine. Cupboard door frame through mortised and tenoned and pinned with raised panel. Six dovetailed drawers, pine, with between-centers turned knobs of a diffuse porous tropical hardwood. Cupboard was built-in to a corner with only the front and proper left end exposed. The piece has no back. The top drawer has a half-mortise iron lock in place with a brass escutcheon on the outside. Drawers are lipped and lips have a quarter-round detail with stop. Painted red and varnished over.
