Description

Pine wood box (a) with top and bottom dovetailed to ends. Five horizontal back boards nailed into rebates in back edge of ends. Front is rebated at ends and bottom to fit over box ends and bottom and is held in place by wood screws and nails. Towel rack (b) of pine consisting of two verticals into which two horizontal members are through-mortised, pinned, and wedged. All edges are chamfered. Four small between-centers turned cherry knobs or pegs on each end. No discernible finish.
