Round box (a) with oak band and white pine header. Lid (b) has sugar maple band end white pine header. Box has vertical scarf joint secured by tacks, probably copper and bottom nailed in place. Lid has single swallow tail, pointing left, secured with copper tacks. Header secured with shoe pegs. Natural finish, if any.
