Description

Light wood poplar loom constructed largely using interlocking tongue/groove method. Front of loom: pieces are vertical (90 degree angle). Back of loom: vertical pieces are angled about 25 degrees. Back of loom has a circular dowel (about 4 1/2" diameter) with wooden crank on proper right side and is covered with off-white linen material that has blue ticking. Treadle sits on ground (unconnected to loom), is 35 3/4", and has two pedals that fit into grooves. Consists of: loom (a), beater (b), cross brace (c), harness/heddle (d), harness/heddle (e), and foot treadle (f).
