One drawer blanket chest painted red-brown, Mount Lebanon, NY
Description
Chest constructed of white pine. Single board top has molded edging applied. Single drawer has lipped front and dovetail joinery. Plinth base is dovetailed and top edge has a nice ogee molded edge matching that on the lid surround. LId attached by iron hinges which appear to be original but are secured with flat-head wood screws that may be replacement.
