Edge iron, Canterbury, NH
Description
Wooden edge iron or shoulder stick. One end of the shoulder stick is cut into a multi-step edge iron. Each side has two steps giving the edge iron a ziggurat-like form. From this end the shoulder sticktapers toward the center before increasing in size with one side growing exponentially to create a foot-like form. The center of the "foots" edge is cut out in a slight curve. The bottom of the "foot" is slightly rounded.
