Disk base with edge bead, vase-shaped pedestal, and bowl for pincushion all turned from birch. Five brass spindles for spools in base. Blue velvet pincushion with faded blue bows on opposite sides at points of attachment of a lavender strawberry emery with a blue velvet cap and a molded block of wax both supported by purple ribbons. Birch parts have natural finish.
