Cast-steel shell bit, 1/5" diameter with notched tapered square tang for use in brace.
Bits 1950.1659.5, .11-13, .18, .20, .22, and .25 appear to be spoon bits that have been poorly sharpened so that their noses are no longer in the same plane as the edges of the body. They do not resemble other bits described in Salaman.
