Description

A saw clamp (to hold saw while sharpening) with a base of beech, one fixed and one movable vertical with carved clamp jaws attached by means of iron flat-head wood screws (verticals and jaws of cherry), and a carriage bolt and nut to tighten clamp on saw blade. Lower on the verticals a 1/2" diameter hole matching cap to a topped 1/2" diameter hole on the other vertical where a wooden screw was originally used to tighten clamp. That screw is no longer with clamp.
