Round carrier inscribed "Sick," Mount Lebanon, NY
Description
Steam-bent maple rim secured with copper tacks, with three swallowtails pointing right. White pine bottom secured with two copper points and eight box nails of steel or aluminum. Steam-bent hickory handle has a flattened outer surface and rounded surface inside. Handle fastened to the side rim by three iron tacks on each side. Rim and bottom painted or washed bright yellow; handle is natural.
