Round base to flared oval rim. Black ash splint 3/8"-7/8" w uprights, 1/8" w weavers. Split rim with single lashing. Bonnet-shaped handle, 1/2" w, single-notched, that comes down on inside and rises above basket for 5" at highest point. Base consists of uprights continued from the sides that gradually narrow as they reach center, circular weavers, split upright in center.
