Birch round base with five brass pins to hold spools (one is missing). Turned birch pedestal to slender throat, turned birch shallow bowl at top. Maroon velvet tomato pincushion affixed to top with an attached satin and velvet strawberry emery and a molded beeswax cake. Both attached with pink satin ribbon. Pincushion has two steel head pins and two glass head pins (one black, one white).
