Description

Cylindrical jar (a) with recessed neck. Neck is 1" high. Opening at top is 2 3/4" wide. Mouth has a second lip, shortly below the first that is 1/4" wide. Bottom of neck has a small carved square on either side and either edge of a metal handle has been glued here. Double handle, bonnet-shaped one fits over lid, arched one rests just under neck to fasten the lid (b). The lid is 3 1/8" in diameter, stacked with five-pointed sun design on top 1 7/8" in diameter. Raised glass with "4" on it.
