Counter

Description

Rectangular counter of pine with sixteen lipped drawers, divided into four banks, graduated in width from left to right. The row of drawers under the overhanging top are significantly shallower than the rest of the drawers. The two widest banks of drawers have two maple knobs per drawer, and the remaining two banks of drawers plus the shallow top row of drawers have one maple knob per drawer. The diameter of each knob is 1". Straight bottom rail. Side panels and backboards comprised of a series of stiles, each about 4" wide, but varying slightly. Painted a warm, honey color. The hardware consists of iron or steel nails, and steel woodscrews.
