Description

Desk (a) comprised of white pine board mortised on one side for hinges and covered with leather on top which is wrapped over edges and tacked. Support bracket (b) consists of a wooden post with steel pins at top and bottom that acted as pivots with an arm mortised and tenoned to post and joint pinned. An iron bar runs diagonally from arm to post to strengthen support. Near end of arm a threaded cherry dowel is screwed through arm to allow adjustment of desk to level.
