Basket

Description

Rectangular base to slightly flared, softer rectangular rim. Black ash or oak, pale in color; 1/2" uprights and 1/2" weavers. Oak rim with single lashing. Arched, fixed handle that comes down on interior of basket. Handle is single-notched and rises above basket for about 6" at highest point. Base is plain weave, with splints ranging in width from 1/2" to 3/4". Weave is loose.
