Some sort of mixer consisting of a cast iron square container with a crank handle and gear outside and an egg-beater style mixer inside with a ring gear at the top which engages the cranked gear outside. The bottom of the mixer shaft sits in a depression cast in the bottom of the container. Crank has a between-centers turned hickory handle stained red-brown and varnished over.
