Description
Woven basket with rectangular base to oval-shaped rim. Broad splints with fine weave overlay; base has broad splint weave. "X"-bound rim.
Notes
According to the donor, this basket was made by Sister Mary Dahm. The donor's mother, Pauline "Polly" Bruce, was the sister of Elder Arthur Bruce of Canterbury, and Sister Mary acted as the donor's mother's caretaker while she lived at the Watervliet South Family.
