Description

Cardboard box holding nine buckle-plated tubes. Each tube pulls apart into two sections. One section has a sharpened goose? quill attached to it and is intended to be used as a toothpick. The other section is merely a cover. The product was probably developed and marketed by “J. V Calvert & Co.” of Washington D.C. James Vail Calver was a dentist in D. C. and the natural brother of Amelia J. Calver a member of the Mount Lebanon Shaker Society.
