Description
Advertising circular or pamphlet for Mother Siegel's Curative Syrup, distributed by A. J. White. 8 pages. On the front, an "account of a visit" to the Shakers from Mary F. Carr, with an illustration in the center, an engraving showing the "Mother Siegel" character. The rest is advertising material and testimonials for the medicinal preparation and some engravings based on photographic originals. On page 2, the Mount Lebanon meetinghouse; on page 3, "Group of Shakers at Mt. Lebanon, N.Y.," on page 4, "Shaker Dwelling-House, Mt. Lebanon, N.Y."
