Description

A turned wheel or pulley of white pine (Pinus strobus). The face of the device is heavily crowned and covered with leather. The device is laminated since there are pins or dowels through the sides. There is some sort of iron bushing with an inner diameter of 1 3/4" through the center. This diameter is further reduced by a wood bushing, probably ash (Fraxinus americana), with an inner diameter of 1 1/4".
