Work counter with three drawers at proper left end and a two door cupboard with one shelf at proper right end. Drawers are dovetailed, doors are frame and panel (flat) with through mortise and tenon joinery. Case is probably white pine (Pinus strobus) while drawer bottoms are tulip poplar (Liriodendron tulipfera). Piece was painted; traces of salmon paint on turned knobs of drawers. Door panels appear to be washed yellow. Exterior has been stripped and varnished. Drawers and doors were secured with half-mortise locks. Locks have been removed but oval, stamped brass escutcheons remain.
