Description

Tall wood box with rack or handle on ends. Three racks in cupboard.

Notes

Straw was placed on racks inside; a brazier (1955.7359.2) was filled with brimstone and set in the bottom; the sulfur was burned to produce sulfur dioxide, a powerful bleaching agent.
