Description
Platform of maple with attached wedge-shaped cleat of white pine along outside edge. To the rear, a wedge of red oak is somehow attached to the platform to which a birch segment is secured with wood screws. A 9/16" diameter tapped hole is drilled through the birch which accepts a threaded thumb screw of hickory. This allows the platform to be clamped to some other object. The other side of the platform is covered by a piece of sheet metal crimped over the edges and held with copper tacks.
